Another Relaxation Audio

I listened to the relaxation audio and found it interesting to imagine the colors of the rainbow individually coming out of different points of my body. The guy's voice is soothing and the most beneficial part of the audio was that I did indeed relax. It was good for me to do after a busy day filled with frustration. I am now feeling lots better and I hope I sleep better, too.

  1. Hi Kristy,
You mentioned the speakers voice as soothing. It is funny how different people like differnt voices. I thought his voice was okay, middle ground but I prefer the deeper voice. A voice like Charlton Heston or Michael Clarke Duncan or Sam Elliot. The deeper the voice, the more soothing I find it; must be the way I hear things. The anatomy of my hearing, dictate the preface of my mind. Have a great day, Deb c

    1. I’m with you Deb, Low voices are much more soothing. (Have you ever listened to Gregorian chant?) Of course, I find no voice to be best of all – I prefer nature sounds or just pure music.

  2. Hi Kristy,

I am finding that no matter how stressed I am when I start the relaxation exercise, I too find myself a little less stressed when it is over. It really helps with the spasms in my back, they are not as severe. I need to find some meditaion cd's that are longer so that I could possibly get them to decrease all the way. I do like the soothing voice of the exercise, it helps in letting things go and just focus on what they are saying. It would be interesting if the voices were deeper as Deb was saying that she likes if that would make any difference for me? Something for me to think about.

  3. The colors just add a level of frustration to it for me. I’m not exactly color blind but I struggle with colors. I seem them so they aren’t irrelevant; I just tend to have a really hard time identifying and distinguishing between them.
